Overview of July Projects by IWC Bombay Queen's Tiara


  • Environmental Support Through Tree Planting - July 1st, 2023 Kicking off the month, the IWC Bombay Queen's Tiara club embarked on an environmental initiative by planting 21 trees in Paragaon, Palghar with a project. This district-wide project aimed to bolster local environmental health and community awareness about sustainability. The earnings from which will be utilized to maintain the school in the near future.


  • Educational Support with Stationery Distribution - July 8th, 2023 On July 8th, ALPA, a member of the club donated and facilitated educational advancement at Victoria Memorial School for Blind Kids in Tardeo, Mumbai, by distributing essential stationery and resources to 80 beneficiaries. The project, , significantly aided the educational needs of visually impaired children.


  • Book Distribution for Specially Abled-BUSS NGO - July 12th, 2023 UNITY OF SELF SUFFICIENCY-Furthering our commitment to education, the club distributed 56 dozen books to specially abled individuals in Raigad District and neighbouring villages on July 12th. This initiative, supported 56 beneficiaries by enhancing their educational resources and self-sufficiency.


  • Science Learning Experience at Nehru Science Centre - July 15th, 2023 The club organized a field trip for 135 ninth graders from Modern English School, Ghatkopar to Nehru Science Centre in Worli, Mumbai. This educational excursion, enriched the students' understanding of science and technology.


  • Empowerment Session for Young Girls - July 15th, 2023 Also on July 15th, 60 girls from Modern English School in Ghatkopar participated in the "Talk About Sparsh" session conducted by Worli Police, which aimed to empower them through self-support techniques and awareness for good touch bad touch, at no additional cost.


  • Nutritional Support for Specially Abled - July 25th, 2023 On July 25th, Shama, member of the club organized and sponsored a food distribution drive at Kamla Mehta School for Blind Girls in Dadar, Mumbai. This initiative provided nutritious meals to 120 beneficiaries, ensuring their well-being.


  • Educational Tools for the Blind - July 25th, 2023 Continuing their support on the same day, Shama, member of the club also donated and distributed 10 Braille slates at Kamla Mehta School for Blind Girls, enhancing the learning experiences of 120 girls with a project.


  • Girl Empowerment at the Multi District Rally in Indore- July 27th, 2023 Distributing Cycle initiative, the club supported a cycling rally aimed at empowering young girls in Indore, India. This project provided bicycles to 2 young girls, enabling greater mobility and independence.


Each project undertaken by IWC Bombay Queen's Tiara in July not only targeted specific needs within the community but also illustrated the club's dedication to fostering education, empowerment, and environmental consciousness.
