August 2023 Projects by IWC Bombay Queen's Tiara: Empowerment and Support Initiatives


  • Empowering Education with Technology - August 1st, 2023 IWC Bombay Queen's Tiara kicked off their August initiatives by awarding a digital tablet to a child through the "Empower Girls Multi District Rally Project" held in Mahabalipuram. This investment was aimed at enhancing educational access for one beneficiary, empowering them through modern learning tools in a significant step toward digital inclusion. Club secretary Gopika generously donated the Tablet.


  • Animal Welfare Project - August 8th, 2023 On August 8th, the club focused on animal care through the "Animal Welfare and Care Feeding Fodder to Cow Monthly Project" donated and managed by Kavita Waghani. This project, conducted at Shree Sanjeevni Sau Seva Samiti in Mumbai Bhiwandi, benefited many cows and underscored the club's commitment to animal welfare with a modest budget.


  • Nutrition Aid for Low-Income Travelers - August 25th, 2023 Addressing the needs of the underprivileged, Kavita Waghani executed a food distribution drive for 10 low-income travellers in Nasik. This initiative, provided crucial nutritional support to those in transit, reflecting the dedication to addressing immediate human needs.


  • Atmavishwas Kits for Girl's Health and Education - August 29th, 2023 The largest project of the month, was aimed at empowering and educating girls by distributing sanitary pads for the whole year to 57 beneficiaries. Supported by Manray Foundation at Palghar, the event was attended by committed members such as Kavita Waghani, Siddhi, Gopika, Jigna, Aarmeen, Bijal, and Shikha, who played vital roles in ensuring the project's success and impact on the community’s young women.


These diverse projects highlight IWC Bombay Queen's Tiara's commitment to empowering individuals across different sectors of society, from education and animal welfare to health and nutrition.
