December 2023 Community Projects by IWC Bombay Queens Tiara

• Animal Welfare and Care On December 4, 2023, a monthly animal welfare project took place at Shree Sanjeevni Gaushala in Bhiwandi. Led by club president Kavita Waghani, this initiative involved feeding and providing fodder to many cows, emphasizing the club's commitment to animal care and welfare.

• Mental Health Awareness Workshops A series of mental health awareness workshops were conducted on December 12, 2023, in collaboration with ABET. These workshops were held across various schools in Mumbai, including Dr. Babasaheb School, Ganpatroa Kadam Marg, Elphinstone Bridge MCGM School, Love Grove Pumping School, Prabhadevi MPS, and Khedgully MPS. Each school hosted two workshops for 7th and 8th-grade students, benefiting a total of 539 students. The workshops aimed to promote mental health awareness and encourage healthy mental practices among adolescents. These efforts were supported by Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds.covering 7 schools and 14 workshops in collaboration with Aditya Birla Education Trust, these workshops aimed to raise awareness about mental health issues and provide necessary support and guidance to students, fostering a healthier and more supportive school environment. This was with support of the MOU for the centurion term with the club and ABET.

• Online Mental Health Workshop On December 15, 2023, an online workshop titled "Prioritize Mental Health" was conducted, reaching 30 participants. This session focused on the importance of mental health and provided valuable insights and strategies for maintaining mental well-being.

• Food Distribution On December 16, 2023, a food distribution event was organized at Anandashram Varakari Shikshan Sanstha in Raigad. This initiative, led by club president Kavita Waghani, provided nourishment to 20 individuals, showcasing the club's dedication to supporting the community's nutritional needs.

• Educational Support and Nutritional Aid On December 22, 2023, a series of supportive initiatives were carried out at Kavle Math Marathi Medium School in Teenbathi, Mumbai. These included educational support, nutrition food distribution, and blanket distribution for the school's students and staff. Supported by the Health for You Foundation, these efforts benefited 150 individuals, ensuring they received necessary educational resources, nutritional food, and warmth during the winter season. Throughout December, IWC Bombay Queens Tiara undertook various projects aimed at improving mental health awareness, providing educational and nutritional support, and caring for animals, reflecting the club's broad commitment to community service and well-being.
