November 2023 Community Projects by IWC Bombay Queens Tiara


  • Entertainment Morning for Shraddha Foundation On November 4th, IWC Bombay Queens Tiara organized an entertaining morning for 62specially abled beneficiaries from Shraddha Charitable Trust in Mumbai's Tardeo area. The event included meals and gift distributions, fostering joy and camaraderie among the attendees. Furthermore, the club successfully raised funds by buying products made by specially abled members of Sraddha charitable trust. Through member contributions enhancing the support provided to Shraddha Foundation and contributing to their welfare initiatives. Sagota music institute performed the NGO, Our Committee member Shrutis daughter also performed with the group. Everyone participated and danced the morning with joy.

 

  • Monthly Animal Welfare Feeding Project Continuing their commitment to animal welfare, the club President Kavita Waghani conducted its monthly feeding project for many cows at Shree Sanjeevni Sau Seva Samiti in Mumbai on November 16th. This initiative ensured the well-being and sustenance of the animals, reflecting the ongoing dedication to supporting the local community and its furry inhabitants.


  • Mental health awareness workshops On November 23, 2023, IWC Bombay Queens Tiara conducted two mental health awareness workshops at N M Joshi School in Lower Parel, Mumbai. These workshops, attended by 54 teenagers, were designed to address mental health issues prevalent among adolescents and to promote mental wellness. Supported by Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds and facilitated under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the sessions aimed to educate and empower the young participants with knowledge and strategies to manage their mental health effectively. The initiative highlights the club's ongoing commitment to fostering mental health awareness and support within the community.  


  • Shopping Experience for Anand Yaan's Senior Citizens Our Club Treasurer Rakhee led an impactful initiative on November 28th, organizing and sponsoring a shopping excursion for 72 senior citizens from Anandyaan in Mumbai. The beneficiaries were treated to a shopping trip at Reliance Mart in Atria Mall, where they received INR 1,000 vouchers for shopping during the festive season. This project, not only provided essential goods to the elderly but also offered them a delightful and engaging experience, enriching their quality of life and well-being.
